Zoltan Stone works was contacted to restore the Grand Foyer of the US Court of Appeals of the Armed Forces at the Pentagon. When Zoltan Stone Works arrived on site, they realized that the foyer was built with ‘Carrara Marble’ that had black insert design; this required a four step full marble restoration.

They had to start with a 120 grid diamond cut and eventually transition to a 800 grid diamond cut, this was done this way because the black inserts in the carrara marble required additional polishing than regular white marble.

For the final step process, they used a 5X polishing powder to polish the marble to the highest possible gloss
